Job Responsibilities:

• Build and support an enterprise Agile COE with consistent training and coaching available to the whole of the organization
• Coach executives on supporting organizational structures for agile transformations.
• Teach, lead, and mentor cross-functional business groups to build, sustain, and strengthen Agile values, scrum concepts and practices, providing them the necessary tools and guidance to successfully implement across high impact programs throughout the enterprise.
• Drive consistent Agile practices and strategy across the organization to enhance business value delivery and responsiveness to organization and marketplace opportunities.
• Coach and partner with Product Owners with backlog creating and grooming to ensure vision, roadmap and personas are well-defined and understood
• Grow trust by monitoring the health of the collective team, checking that our commitments, pace, and quality are on track with organizational standards.
• Advise Agile coaches in their communications and process activities while nurturing their ability to serve.
• Ensure appropriate risk management and control practices are integrated into the lifecycle of Agile initiatives.
• Lead the charge in enhancing Agile delivery processes to reduce areas of uncertainty by identifying trade-offs between short and long term benefits to drive a shared vision across the organization.
• Coach and promote metrics leading to continuous improvement of the Agile delivery process and proposes solutions to the methodology to enhance it and care for unique situations.
• Keep abreast of industry trends of Agile and best practices for enhancing the practice.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of professional experience using Agile methodologies in dynamic environment.
• Deep understanding of SAFe and Agile with hands-on experience in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and/or eXtreme Programing
• Strong emotional intelligence and organizational awareness with ability to challenge organizational norms and influence decisions without formal authority.
• SAFe SPC Certification (Certified Program Consulting) or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal skills including active listening, coaching, consultation and collaboration.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Experience with large scale software delivery and/or Agile transformation at scale in large enterprise organizations.
• Thorough Knowledge and background of Lean Agile methods; can provide demonstrated results using Agile principles (Agile and non-Agile integrations and interactions) with the flexibility to adapt to new and evolving environments.
• Successfully coached/led initiatives using Scrum, Kanban and efforts using Scrum at Scale, SAFe, or other scaling frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile Engineering practices including Enterprise Architecture, DevOps (CI-CD, Test Driven Development, etc.).
• Strong product management knowledge to be able to coach people in the role of Product Owner and Chief Product Owner.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work closely with engagement leaders and a diverse team of consultants to design and lead execution of advanced quantitative and qualitative engagement analyses across operational, strategic, and economic dimensions
• Providing strategy and direction to clients on their technology transformation
• Bring thought leadership and best practices on technology trends to the client and drive innovation and value
• Ability to work and speak with C-level executives and walk them through their vision, solution discovery, sales design, and executive programs
• Participating in all aspects of our methodology and work, including analyzing quantitative research and creating financial models, creative thinking and developing strategic recommendations
• Ability to define strategic needs of the business, analyze business strategies, translate into potential effects on issuer portfolio performance
• Provide collaboration, consultation and guidance to the Consulting team to ensure that project objectives are aligned with enterprise strategies and goals
• Understand and clarify business objectives and requirements, gain buy-in on the approach, develop briefs and estimate costs

Qualifications & Experience: 

• 20+ years of experience in the technology services industry with the last 10+ years in the Product industry focusing on architecting next generation solutions and products for Fortune 100 clients
• Has acted/performed the role of a Consulting Director (or similar) and has deep experience in software projects and products
• Strong strategic advisory and architecture background, with deep knowledge and experience of software products
• Executive presence and communication while able to articulate to all levels of the organization
• High degree of comfort playing a general role and gaining exposure to new industries and business models frequently
• Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic credentials from a top-tier institution required. Academic focus in business, economics, engineering/computer sciences preferred
• Master’s degree or above in Business Administration, Operations Management or other business-related discipline strongly preferred
